Jake Morrell could have come straight out of Nashville, or even from the Californian sunshine, as his music suggests; but Jake is from Norfolk, England!

Now returning with his long awaited second release – ‘Englishman’ follows on from his first EP ‘The Greenline’, released back in 2015.

The title and first single from the EP – ‘Englishman’ will be released on the 10th March to coincide with Morrell’s second consecutive year performing at the iconic Country to Country Festival at The O2 (The Big Entrance Stage – 15:50). The rest of the EP will follow on the 16th March, a week after the festival.

‘Englishman’(Single) was co-written by Jake and Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer, Kipper (Sting, Gary Newman). The song takes reference from Jake’s journey as a young songwriter/artist, growing up listening to the likes of James Taylor and Shania Twain. Whilst celebrating the fact that country music is fast becoming a popular household genre in the UK.

The EP perfectly captures the magic and energy that Jake and his fantastic band create when they are performing live, whilst showcasing Morrell’s vocal ability with songs that will get stuck in your head for weeks to come.

London-based, American-Israeli duo, O&O, released their debut single ‘Traveling’ in June. The track featured on Chris Country Radio's New Music List and Richer Unsigned's Best of August 2017 playlist. Although new to the London scene, O&O have made their presence felt on the live music circuit this last year with support slots for artists such as Australian Music Award nominees, the Germein Sisters, ahead of the band's appearance at the 2017 Isle of Wight Festival. Their live show features the duo's distinctive, close-harmony sound with an Americana flare - Fleetwood Mac meets The Civil Wars.

O&O are comprised of Colorado-native, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Obadiah Jones, and Israeli vocalist, Orian Peled. The pair met while studying for a Music BA at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). While performing together in various projects during their three-year course, O&O established their deepest connection as a songwriting partnership and were awarded the unique opportunity of a one-on-one songwriting session with Sir Paul.

Proceeds from their debut and donations raised during a series of pop-up concerts in collaboration with Busk In London and Network Rail went towards raising awareness of national charity Youth Music and its music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. O&O continue to collaborate with Youth Music, with live performances planned for early 2018.

Due in January, O&O's sophomore release, 'Some Days', reveals the darker side of romance. For the recording of this single, O&O returned to Liverpool to work with producer/engineer/drummer Alec Brits (Stealing Sheep, Surfalot, I See Rivers). Written during a month-long stay in Nashville, 'Some Days' speaks to the challenging moments in love, when a relationship seems damaged beyond repair.
